Guest Policy

RESERVATION POLICY

To confirm the booking, the guest is required to pay – the entire amount of booking for the total period of stay, however in case of certain Holiday Stays, the guest would be required to pay a part of total amount. Thus, total amount payable for booking confirmation might vary from one property to another.

BOOKING EXTENSION POLICY

Extension of stay would be provided on current room rates, subject to availability. Current room rates can be different from the rates at which the rooms were booked.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We would love to host you but in case your plans change, our simple cancellation process makes sure you receive a quick confirmation and fast refunds.

In case of no show i.e. if the guest doesn’t check-in due to any reason, no refund shall be payable. If weather condition prevents the Holiday Stay from arranging a particular experience booked, amount paid for that experience gets refunded.

PAYMENT POLICY

For booking of more than 5 nights, guests have to settle all outstanding payments on the fifth day. Holiday Stay will be unable to provide further accommodation prior to settlement of the outstanding amount.

EARLY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUT

Early Check-in (subject to availability)
Our standard check-in time is 1230 hours. Early check-in is subject to availability and cannot be confirmed in advance. Extra charges will apply as per the below policy:

Between 0600 hours and 0900 hours 30% charges payable as per room rates of the previous day, however does not include breakfast
Between 0900 hours and 1230 hours Complimentary, however does not include breakfast

Rooms will be held up to 1800 hours on the day of arrival unless prior information for late check-in is provided.

Late Check-out (subject to availability)

Our standard check-out time is 1030 hours. Late check-out is subject to availability and cannot be confirmed in advance. Extra charges will apply as per the below policy:

CHILD POLICY

Children up to 5 years of age can stay in the parent's room without additional charge

Children between 6-12 years will be charged 50% of the adult rates, which includes meals and extra occupancy charges

Children above 12 years will be charged as per adult rates

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Prices are subject to change without notice. Taxes including service tax, luxury tax, VAT shall be applicable as per prevailing Government Rules and Regulations.

It is mandatory for any Indian to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in. According to Government Regulations, every person above the age of 18 staying at the hotel should carry a valid Photo ID. The identification proofs accepted at the Holiday Stays are Driving License, Voter ID Card, Aadhaar Card and Passport. Without a valid Photo ID, the guest will not be allowed to check-in. PAN cards are not accepted as a valid Photo Identity Proof. It is mandatory for any Non-Resident Indian/Foreigner to produce their passport at check-in.

Extra occupancy at the Holiday Stays shall be strictly followed as mentioned in the description of the room type. Extra occupancy shall be accommodated by providing one extra roll away bed or a mattress per room along with breakfast/meals as per booked rate plan.

Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the Holiday Stay, or if any inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention of the property, it reserves the right to investigate and take requisite action. After the allegations have been investigated, hotel can take action against the guest. Guests shall be liable for any damage, missing articles except normal wear and tear to Holiday Stay asset. Guest shall keep the Hotel room in a good condition and maintain hygiene and cleanliness.

Certain policies are booking specific and are informed to the customer at the time of booking including no modification of discounted bookings. Certain destinations may have different policies for specific times during the year which shall be listed from time to time.

HOLIDAY STAY SPECIFIC POLICIES

Holiday Stay specific amenities are captured on the website. Guests are advised to refer the same while booking or in case of any clarification call +91 90 1551 1551 anytime between 10 am to 6 pm.

Holiday Stays in hill stations may not have air conditioning due to weather conditions of the location.

Holiday Stays in remote locations may not have Wi-Fi connectivity due to unavailability of network in those regions.

In some Holiday Stays, due to local norms, unmarried/unrelated couples may not be allowed to check-in. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at the time of check-in.

Holiday Stays may deny check-in to the guests providing ID proof of the same city as the Holiday Stay itself.

ADVENTURE ACTIVITY SPECIFIC POLICY

Adventure activities are conducted by/under the supervision of experienced guides/experts with adequate safety equipment/material available on site. However, the guest acknowledges that he or she is fully aware of the dangers of participation in an outdoor adventure activity. By booking an adventure activity, the guest agrees to get familiar with and abide by all rules and regulations established for such adventure activities. The guest further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Pura Stays, Holiday Stay, their agents and employees, from all claims, damages, losses, injuries, death and expenses arising out of or resulting from participation in these activities.

It is mandatory to provide prior experience, medical history or medical condition to the instructor/guide so that he can make an informed choice. Consumption of alcohol/drug in any form or quantity is strictly prohibited for outdoor adventure activities.

If weather condition prevents Holiday Stays team from arranging a particular activity, amount paid for that activity gets refunded. Adventure Activities on the website are subject to change without prior notice.
